Patrick, formerly a director of Wingate Ventures Limited, joined Odey in 1996 and today heads Research. Previously Patrick worked as an assistant director at Samuel Montagu, the UK merchant bank, latterly in the Specialised Financing Division, during the 1980s. He then joined Pall Mall Capital, a private finance company, working on development. Patrick graduated from London University in 1980.

Kieran joined Odey in 2002, he is now a senior analyst specialising in consumer goods. Prior to Odey, Kieran was managing director of research both at Deutsche Bank and latterly Schroder Salomon Smith Barney. For several years, he was Europe's number one-rated food and beverages analyst. Kieran has a degree in French from UCL.

Ben joined Odey in 2007 as a senior analyst specialising in Banks. Previously Ben spent 3 yrs at UBS as an associate director and analyst covering UK and Irish banks. Ben was then headhunted to ABN Amro as a director and analyst covering EU banks After spending 2yrs at ABN Ben left to join WMG, a start up hedge fund, as an EU banks analyst. Ben was there for just under a year prior to joining Odey. Ben graduated from Bristol University with 1st class honours in French and Politics.

Jamie joined Odey from Newman Ragazzi in 2007 as a senior analyst specialising in Media, Pharma and the internet. Jamie previously has managed global equity portfolios at both Bank of Ireland Asset Management and Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Prior to joining Newman Ragazzi in 2005 he was an analyst at JP Morgan and ran both the highly rated Communications Equipment and the Internet research team and was part of the top rated Media team. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1995 and subsequently spent time in industry with Walt Disney. He graduated from Durham University in 1991 and subsequently gained his MA from London University in 2005.

David joined Odey in 1995 initially as Chief Executive Officer and today he is Chairman focusing on business supervision and strategy and co-heads the research department. David joined Odey from Leopold Joseph, the UK merchant bank, where he was CEO and had worked since 1980. David graduated from New College, Oxford, in 1980.

Massey joined Odey in 2005 as a senior analyst specialising in technology, engineering and growth stocks. Prior to Odey Massey was a director of equity research at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson (1996-2000) and at Goldman Sachs (2000-2003). Most recently, he was an Equity Analyst at Bailey Coates Asset Management. Massey was number one-rated in UK smallcap and has also been highly rated in medical technology, household goods and information technology. Massey graduated from the University of Durham in 1992 with a 2:1 in Politics.

Raj joined Odey in 2002, he is now a senior analyst covering Asian ex-Japan stocks. Previously Raj worked at Coopers and Lybrand. In 2000 he accepted an MBA scholarship at Berkeley in California during which time he also worked as a buy-side analyst on European equities for Loomis Sayles & Co. Raj graduated from Cambridge with a 2:1 in Economics.

Roberto joined Odey from Newman Ragazzi in 2007 as a senior analyst specialising in insurance and small-cap stocks. Prior to Odey Roberto was a director of equity research at Schroders Securities (1996-2000) and at Lehman Brothers (2000-2001). Most recently, he was an Equity Analyst at Newman Ragazzi. He focuses on insurance and Italian small-caps. Roberto graduated from University "Bocconi" in Milan in 1994.

Bruce joined Odey in 2008 and covering Food and Non Food Retail, Textiles and with some coverage in Luxury . Previously he was at Citi where he was MD covering European Non Food retail. Prior to Citi he was at HSBC and BZW. His teams have been top 3 ranked almost every year since the early 1990's across 3 sectors He has been the top ranked individual analyst in two sectors. Bruce has a Physiology degree from St Andrews University.

Ambrose joined Odey in 2005 and is currently working on a pan-European long only portfolio. Prior to this he spent two years as an analyst focused on House builders, Property, Diversified Financials and Banks and has also covered midcaps in the UK, France, Switzerland and Benelux. Ambrose has a Masters in Chemistry from Oxford University, graduating in 2005.
